Skate session at Green lake

IMG_3502

Anyone notice that the Greenlake skate park has been a little quieter now that the Seattle Center Park opened… a couple of us took advantage of this and i cruised down with Randa Shahin (evo team rider), Erykah and Ilana in town from Mt. Hood on their way up to Whistler.  I took some pics and we actually ran into one of our newest athletes Lysander (my lil’ homie w/ dreads in the photos).  Check out some photos and come hang out w/ us at the park sometime soon.

“He’s a ski shop owner and he can ski.” -Grant Gunderson

That was Grant Gunderson commenting on back flipping cliff dropper Bryce Phillips and the shot is from Grant’s collection on ESPN Action Sports. Grant has spent tons of hours shooting Bryce and friends and amassed quite an impressive portfolio.  He was named one of the Top 50 action sports photographers by Red Bull in 2007.  Grant’s got an amazing website with all of his pictures ready to go, just scroll over the number and bam! No load times.  Check it out # 31-Powder Day at Baker (only 4 months until the season starts!!)

Hobbits are a people who are about half the size of human beings. They are fond of good, plain food and gardens or farmland; they are also good- natured, cheerful, and content to lead lives that are unexciting and lacking in adventure. They have a simple sense of humor and a liking for an uncomplicated, easy-going life. President George W. Bush once likened hobbits to the ordinary people of rural England: “the Hobbits are just rustic English people, made small in size because it reflects the generally small reach of their imagination, not the small reach of their courage or latent power.”

Okay okay…This is not a hobbit. This is Jacob Wilkins. And no he is not dead…….just homeless

Today Jacob turns 22 and I couldn’t be more privileged to work with him. Let me tell you just a few things about Jacob that some of you may not know:
