With this morning’s 7″ of fresh snow (and counting), we are pleased to announce our opening date for the 2009-2010 winter season! We will be open with limited operations this Saturday & Sunday, November 14th and 15th (9am-4pm) at Summit West. Opening weekend lift tickets will be offered at $25.

We will be closed Monday and Tuesday, and are planning to re-open Wednesday, conditions permitting. As it is early season, be sure to stay tuned to our website for further operational updates.

Burton Snowboards is pleased to announce GO SNOWBOARDING, a collaborative effort with select North American partner resorts designed to introduce people to snowboarding. With the purchase of select Burton snowboards you can obtain a FREE lesson and lift ticket package. Better yet, the lesson and lift ticket package is FULLY TRANSFERABLE, so if you’re simply too rad for free stuff, then do us all a favor and hook a friend or family member up.

Locally both the Summit at Snoqualmie and Timberline Lodge @ Mt. Hood are participating resorts… if you’re going to buy a board, why not get a free lesson and a ticket!?

Some things to remember:

1. This is for a first time/beginner lesson only. Some resorts utilize a beginner area lift ticket for this program.
2. Your LTR lesson and lift ticket package is fully transferable, so if you already know how to ride, give your GO SNOWBOARDING voucher to a friend or family member.

3. Blackout dates and age restrictions vary, so double check with the resort you want to visit ahead of time.
4. Once you’ve decided when and where you want to ride call to check on restrictions right away. You have to call the resort at least 48 hours ahead of time so that they can plan for your arrival.

Snow is falling and ive been feeling the energy levels around evo jump about 200% over the last couple days!!! Crystal Mountain opens this Wednesday and Mt Baker opens on Thursday. Stevens Pass has to be close behind and with that, we want to make sure that if you are going up to the hill, your gear is completely ready.

So, bring your gear in for service or mounting and we will have it ready for you the next day and waive the rush fee! It’s Simple:

Drop off your gear and we will get it ready for you, FAST! Even after this week’s promo we guarantee to have all your gear serviced within 48 hours until November 25th. Come in quickly so you can get into the mountains just the same!

Ride “Tweak Show” Photos and Recap

October, 30, 2009 Seattle, Washington – Halloween kicked off early in Fremont as Ride Snowboards brought down the freak show, ahem, i mean “Tweak Show” to evo for a night of terror! It was such a sick event, everyone dressed up and the films were incredible.  Lets see, we had Ride’s team film “Along for the Ride”, Pirate Productions and Videograss’s latest film.  Despite the incredible line up of films, people seemed to be preoccupied by the array of crazy costumes, the photobooth, games (Wheel of Death, Skull Toss, Membrain) and the Ride pro team was in the house signing autographs.  Mikey Leblanc, Hana Beaman, Jusso Lavisto, Darrell Mathes Austin Hironaka, Megan Ginter, Nash, Marco, Cory Noble and the whole ride crew were present and accounted for.
