Score $15 off a Pro or Lean tune – With all the areas shutting down, Seattle area skiers and snowboarders can finally wrap up the season, and begin looking forward to adding some much needed pigment to our pasty white skin, BBQs that require multiple napkins¸ and the mercury reading somewhere above a mild 60 degrees.

Megan Middleton reports from Mammoth from the PBRJ Finals!

Thanks to EVO and one of the best contests out there; Volcom’s Peanut Butter Rail Jam – I experienced Mammoth for the first time! The PBRJ Championship went down at Mammoth this last weekend. California sunshine, awesome people, solid contest, and epic good riders going off – oh, and a big cash purse. What could be better!?

Volcom does it right with this contest. It’s about the riders and having fun. All the 17 qualifying contests and final event are FREE, they always place the TOP 5, give out mad good product, and throw down $30,000 for cash prizes in the end. I’ll be riding this event til I’m 80. There were riders who traveled from Japan and Europe getting down and scoring cash.

Orage Masters Contest Recap!!!

Share Button

This is a ‘thank you’ to everyone who participated in the weekend and helped us -Mike Brenner (Orage Masters, Whistler Trip Winner)

What an amazing weekend at Whistler that exceeded all of our expectations! We could never have imagined how great of an experience this trip was going to be. We want to start out by saying a huge thank you to EVO and Orage for the contest and taking care of us for the extended weekend.  Also, thank you to Dakine and Oakley for the wonderful ski gifts – what a great surprise!

Even with all the gear and Whistler experience, what we took away most from the weekend was how great the EVO crew was in every aspect of the trip. From the very beginning, everyone treated us as friends they had not seen in several years – all smiles and excitement!
