Why ‘the Bedouins’?
Derived from the Arabic word, bedouins are a group of people who embrace a nomadic lifestyle in harmony with the land that they wander. Our name was inspired by the simple ideals of bedouins; the perseverance and resilience they approach life with, and their attraction to seek fresh perspectives and horizons.

When we locked in a show with Clark Little here at evo we had NO idea that you guys blow down the doors of this place like you did!!!! Thanks to everyone for coming out! We had people show up an hour before the slideshow was to start…and people lined up to purchase some of Clark’s books and to get autographs and stuck around well after doors would normally close! The show was one of a kind. We were treated to a narrated slideshow featuring a series of photos and video clips documenting and dissecting some of his shoots, talking about his tools of the trade and the trials and tribulations of his craft. If you get a chance to attend on of his book signings this summer, i highly recommend it!

Check out the photos from the evening and if you are in Seattle and can take a quick minute to swing in to see it first hand! Get a glimpse of the neon themed goodness, exposing their thoughts around the magnification of the graphic levels of violence we are exposed to for entertainment mixed with bright neon colors as a direct nod to the hypercolor movement of the 80’s.
Last week’s Game of S.K.A.T.E. was super fun… 26 people came down to play and we took it outside this time, which, not sure if everyone was super stoked on, but with such a big crew it made things going a little faster. Zev owned the 15 and under category and our man Ben Johnson took the 15+ category… nice work! thanks to everyone for showing your faces… see you June 16th for the next one!
I wanted to write and send send my deepest sympathies to Ingrid, Ralph, Steve and Betsy Backstrom, friends and extended family after learning of Arne’s passing. Whether you get a chance to make some turns with the Backstrom family or already know them at a more personal level, their positive spirit, care for others and passion for the mountains is always evident.
My time getting to know Arne was brief while filming with him and Ingrid at Crystal last season but as I read all of the comments and letters that have been posted over the past two days, it all aligns with what I learned about his calm demeanor, outlook and love for skiing.
All of those mourning are in our thoughts and prayers.
