What if there was one festival that blended the best parts of your life into one gigantic week-long party? Well there is, and no we are not talking about Kazantip…we are talking about the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival held in Whistler, BC each April.
Australians People from all over the world gather each April in Whistler to celebrate the skiing, snowboarding, art, music, and partying lifestyle that we all know and love so much. Check out the schedule of events and make sure you can attend!

Some event we recommend:
This is just a few of the many things that are going on in Whistler next week. Plenty to do and plenty to see. Maybe you will even see us up there…
Oh ya…you can buy discounted Whistler lift tickets at evo Seattle. So do that too.
What do you do for spring break? Well if you were evo Team Athlete Vanessa Aadland you go skiing. Not just at the local hill or jib park though, we’re talkin’ AK. Alaska buddy. Vanessa made the trip up to AK with no plans and high hopes. Things don’t always turn out how you plan but if you keep your head on a swivel you can make the best out of any situation. Check out Vanessa’s Alaskan Adventure Summary below.
The “Women of Winter” landed in the Pacific Northwest last weekend for 2 days of an intro backcountry safety and awareness course that included a meet & greet at evo in Seattle and an on hill portion at Crystal Mountain. Ive never seen so many women, nor heard as many laughs on a mountainside all at once as i did this last Saturday… quite a thing to see and to be a part of!

Last weekend the Summit at Snoqualmie was a holy place. The Holy Oly Revival took place on a massive quarterpipe and the air miles being logged were ridiculous. Enough to fly to Portugal probably. While we weren’t able to attend to give you the firsthand write up, our buddies at Yobeat were. Check out their recap and video coverage of one of the most important contests/gatherings in the Northwest.
We were able to snag some results though, and Northwest shredders represented in the fullest.
Get real bro. The Real Video premier of “Since Day One”, the first video from Real Skateboards in quite some time, is next Monday April 11th at the Piranha Shop in Seattle. If you like real skateboarding this is the video to see. Expect standout parts from Dennis Busenitz and Justin Brock and everyone else.
Last Friday it may have been pouring rain in Seattle all day but it was all about sunny beaches and perfect waves inside evo thanks to some amazing photography from Clark Little. This is the second time we have been fortunate enough to host Clark’s photos in evo in the last year and it is an honor for us.
Nimbus Independent’s latest work of art is now available for your viewing pleasure, “En Route: Approach”, check it out!
