Go Skateboarding Day 2012 at Sea Sk8 Skatepark Recap

Last Thursday was Go Skateboarding Day. Every year on June 21st, skateboarders around the world grab their skateboards and head out to the nearest piece of asphalt, staircase, curb or skatepark. This year, evo, as well as many other Seattle area skate shops and sponsors including Skullcandy, Kr3w, Gravis, Analog, Stance and more, set up at the Sea Sk8  Skatepark at the Seattle Center for the day. 

Thanks to everyone who came out and participated. We saw so many awesome skateboarders throwing down their best trick, winning a ton of prizes, hot dogs and other free food and drinks all day long.

Our friends from Skate for Change Seattle, a group committed to giving back to low income and homeless in the community, was there letting people know more about their organization.
