Transworld Wake & Alliance Wake Announced the Winner of the $1000 evo Gift Card!

For the month of June, the wakeboard community voted for their favorite brand in the Battle of the Brands.  The heavy-hitting manufacturers of the wake industry entered the evo octagon and duked it out for bragging rights.  It was a hard-fought, nail-biter of a battle with several brands leapfrogging each other for the lead on multiple occasions.  When the dust settled (do octagons have dust?), Hyperlite was the “last brand standing” edging out Ronix by a mere 15 votes.  Full results here.  Congrats to Hyperlite and all brands that battled!

As part of the contest, voters wrote passionate prose to describe what they loved about their brand.  The written entries have been judged by the esteemed editors of Transworld Wakeboarding and Alliance Wake and Kellen from Covington, WA was picked as the winner.  For his description of how Liquid Force saved his life he’s got a cool $1000 evo gift card coming his way!  Read Kellen’s winning entry here.
