A common mistake when beginning skateboarding is purchasing a skateboard deck that is in fact not the correct size for your intended style or body composition. Skating the wrong type or size of board can set you back on the learning curve a great deal and can make all aspects of skating just that much more difficult. Try learning to ollie on a board that’s wider and heavier than you are… then you’ll understand what we mean.

Do you ever finally find a pair of sunglasses that you are so excited about then you put them on and realize that they do not fit your face? At all. Talk about an ultimate letdown. Turns out that face shape really dictates what style of frames look good on you, and more importantly, which ones don’t.

Sunglasses Style Guide: More Than Just a Face Accessory


They say that Seattle residents go through more sunglasses than any other city in the country. You may think that is ironic because of how rainy it’s supposed to be here. And you are right, we do have a lot of gray days for sure, but that one bright day every couple weeks is REALLY bright on our eyes that are used to constant darkness and we can never find our shades when we need them. Quite the predicament to be in if you ask us.
