Usually when you think of a traveling circus, nothing positive, let alone entertaining, comes to mind. Luckily that is not the case for LINE SkisTraveling Circus “Summer Van-cation“. Even though there are very few windows in their van, it’s safe to say that that you’d be in good company and fortunately the only clowns featured are these guys. Check out the video and photos from their adventure below and always remember to stay off the salt flats.
You can never buy a new ski set up too early, but you can buy one too late! Use your mouse and keyboard to maneuver over to evo.com or use your legs to come in to evo Seattle to check out our selection of LINE skis, Full Tilt ski boots, and Marker bindings. What do you know… one of everything you need right here. We carry a pretty good amount of product, and we like most of it, but here are some of our favorites for the year.
The final installment of Nimbus Independents Webisodes dropped almost 3 weeks ago so for all you who have been hiding under a rock, confined to a modern American mall checking off those Christmas lists or just plain lost in the city (did you hear about this guy?) we shall present it to you one more time. Consider it a nice Christmas bonus. Without further ado here it is, in all its glory, “Plan B”.
The LINE Skis Mountain Command Teamis a mix of the most talented, unique and individual skiers in the world. How can a bunch of individuals be a team you ask? Their creativity is the bond that connects them, driving the voice of our brand and beating the drum of new ways to look at the mountain, the streets, backcountry and everywhere in-between. We’re proud of these riders who every day bring something new to all aspects of skiing. Where there’s snow and enough room to slide on it, you’ll find LINE MCs.
Enjoy the edit and please purchase/download/watch the films in the list at the end to support the companies that support these riders and help push skiing to new levels.
LINE TRAVELING CIRCUS
SEASON 3
Episode 1 – Attack of the Sand People
Coming off winning the first ever prestigious award for “Best Webisode” at the International Freeskiing Film Festival www.IF3.ca, the Traveling Circus crew is back at it again for season 3 with their release of the first new episode of the season, “Attack of the Sand People”.
Follow skiing’s favorite band of skiing misfits lead by Will Wesson & Andy Parry across the country to Oregon for their annual summertime mission to find new and creative ways to slide on skis, while waiting for winter to start. The adventure starts at Mount Hood Oregon where they meet up with Max Hill & Erik Olson to destroy Timberline & Windell’s Camp terrain in ways never before imagined. Then it’s on to the next volcano, Mt Adams where it’s time to hike for turns, poop on paper, eat fish heads & as always make something of nothing while having more fun than everyone else. When the snow melts it’s on to the Oregon coast to pioneer the real progression of skiing’s future …. skiing desert sand dunes.
Yet another massive shipment of brand new skis has arrived at our warehouse. Line’s 2011 collection is here, which means you can finally punch-dance your anxiety away!
You already know Line kills it, from their skis to their athletes to their tall tees and hoodies. Well, their skis just got fatter, their tees taller and their hoodies huger. And rumor has it Line athlete and evo team rider Eric Pollard just got cooler… if that’s even possible. We know you’re as anxious as perpetual first chair guy when it comes to what’s new this season from Line Skis. Don’t soil your shorts. Find out here.
Powder Prophecies: The Prophet series is looking fresh for 2011. The Prophet 130 is now just called The 130* and no longer has any metal in it, and the Prophet 115 is a brand new model for 2011. We foresee many sick days…
New Dimensions, New Materials: The Celebrity now comes in two widths – the Celebrity 100 features a 100mm waist with metal core and the Celebrity 90 features a 90mm waist without metal. The Stepup is hot, with skate deck construction. And the Sir Francis Bacon is rockered. Yeah… nbd.
Short Bus: Eric Pollard doesn’t have a kid, but if he did he’d have him on the new EP Pro Shorty, Line’s new fat, rockered ski for youth. Even the little fellas shred better with rocker! And if your kid’s bases see more metal and icy pipe walls than powder, check out the Afterbang Shorty*. Skate deck construction and modest dimensions promise performance in the park.
Need style? Don’t fret – tees and hoodies will be online soon. And if all that still isn’t enough for you, live vicariously through Andy Parry and Will Wesson as they document skiing at its core. Watch Season Two of their Traveling Circus, then shop Line at evo and get yourself setup for snow!
* Sorry, not available online yet. Hang in there – it’s coming soon!
PS: If you haven’t already seen it, check out Lines signature “I am a skier” Tee…
