Friday, October 22, 2010 – evo was jammed pack with a house of over 200 attendees for our 1st Annual Winter Fashion show event that was hosted at our Flagship Store in Seattle, Washington. People literally came from all over the country to celebrate the coming winter season with us… we opened our doors to representatives from the companies showcased on the runway, local media, customers, friends, family and more.
We even had an extra special guest appearance from Olympic Athlete Kelly Clark and Olympic Teammate Gretchen Bleiler. Gretchen was kind enough to take the mic to introduce her Oakley line and to share some insights on outerwear manufacturing.
Energy was brought to you by our friends at Monster Energy Drink, and wheels for our parking shuttle provided by MINI Of Seattle.
In addition to fashion, the evening was all about giving back to the playgrounds that we live and breath. There was a silent auction featuring Ski Packages to Whistler Blackcomb, Stevens Pass, Crystal Mountain and Mt. Bachelor. Each was accompanied by outerwear, Skullcandy Headphones, Dakine swag and more goodies from our sponsors. 4 Lucky bidders walked away stoked, thats for sure!
In addition to the silent auction, PaperMarbles was on site painting one of his latest creations which was auctioned off throughout the night with proceeds also going to Protect Our Winters.
Mmmmmm, and how can we forget the photobooth!? Check out the photobooth snaps here!!!
Overall we’d call the event a success. There were copious amounts of food, drinks provided by Pyramid Brewery and House Wine, desserts by Theo Chocolates and good times brought to you by your friends at evo. Thanks again to everyone who came out to support POW and to stoke us on for the season!!!!
