NWAC Avalanche Awareness Clinic

Update: Thank you to everyone who came out! Be safe out there on your tours! See you next season.

By Garrett Greene, Seattle, WA: Stop by the evo’s Seattle store and join us for a free NWAC Avalanche Awareness class. These classes are perfect for the backcountry newbie who is interested in spending more time in uncontrolled areas where decision making is crucial, or really anyone who spends their winters participating in snow sports! No prior knowledge or experience is necessary, just come willing to learn.

This course is expected to introduce you to the where and why behind avalanche occurrences, as well as describe who gets caught and why. By the end of the 1-2 hour program, you’ll be provided with a basic approach to staying safe in the back country.
