New Arrivals: Northwest Riders Clothing Now at evo!
Have you seen this logo around Seattle over the past couple of years? Well, it is finally coming to evo! Check out the newest brand to hit the shelves at evo Seattle, Northwest Riders Clothing! Based in Issaquah, Wa, Northwest Riders is a clothing brand that operates within the PNW action sports scene. They pride themselves on being a little brand with big ideas, saying that their goal is, “to spend our revenues wisely and put them back into supporting our community, environment, and the riders that choose to call the Northwest their home.”
You’ve probably seen their tree logo stickers on lift towers, handrails, cars and boats, but maybe didn’t know who exactly the logo belonged to. In truth, Northwest Riders strives to be more than just a brand, they work to embody the diverse action sports spirit of the Northwest, be it ski, snowboard, skate, wake, bike or surf. We’re excited to add them to the evo collection!

Things You Might See While Spending 10 Weeks In Alaska

evo Team Rider, Dash Longe, pretty much spent his entire winter in Alaska this year filming for TGR’s 2012 release, The Dream Factory. Often filmed skiing exotic new locations Dash made four separate trips to AK and skied more in the Land of the Midnight Sun than anywhere else combined. Red Bull Chariot Race Is Thursday In Seattle!
The Red Bull Chariot Race is officially rolling through Seattle on May 10, 2012. Do you have what it takes? Each Chariot must have 2 wheels and a strut. Teams will consist of 3 students and must have all 3 students riding or pulling the craft, however, one student must be designated as the “pilot.”

Gallery Recap: Imperial Motion Presents: The Underachievers + Prints For Sale
This past Friday, evo unveiled the May art gallery, “The Underachievers”, presented by Imperial Motion. ”The Underachievers” is a group of graphic designers including Raymond Molinar, Adam Jackson, SB Goetz, Grant Curtis, Josh Row, and PDP; all of whom have artwork featured in Imperial Motion’s clothing line. Several of the artists painted their designs directly onto the gallery walls; screen prints of these paintings will be for sale in the gallery throughout the month for $15 each. 10% Off the proceeds will go to support our friends at the Service Board.

Street League Skateboarding Will Be Live on ESPN2!
It is spring and the evo is getting to ready to hit the skate park and watch some Street League! After rolling through Seattle last year, Street League 2012 will be visiting Kansas City, Ontario Californian, Phoenix Arizona, and Newark New Jersey for the championships!
Not near any of those cities? Don’t worry, ESPN2 will broadcasting the series LIVE at each stop…no delay…LIVE!

Forest Restoration at Pigeon Point in West Seattle
On April 22nd for Earth Day, evo and the Service Board rolled up their sleeves and got our hands dirty to help the Nature Consortium with a massive reforestation project at Pigeon Park in West Seattle. It was an awesome experience in community, ecology, and environmental racism.
