2013 Armada BUBBA at evo Seattle!

The 2013 Armada BUBBA has landed at evo Seattle

Well Armada has done it again and evo has been selected as one of the few shops to stock these.

With only 100 Armada BUBBA skis shipped to North America, you won’t find them available to buy on any website including our own. Nope. They are a special in store only model right now so get down to our shop in Seattle and check them out before they are gone.

armada skis, 2013 armada bubbs, armada bubba, powder skisMid-Season releases are nothing new to the ski industry or Armada. Last season, Armada brought the release of the TST, a ski that has been one of our best selling all mountain skis both online and in store that features their ELF Shoe Technology found on their flagship ski the JJ with the traditional camber and tail profile of the old ANT.

This time, they are going the other direction of the JJ and building a replacement for the ARG.

Behold the BUBBA.  The BUBBA is a leaner, more agile ski than its el gordo (fat!) predecessor. It hosts friendlier sidecut, with a longer effective edge and features enough camber to get back to the lifts without worries (it’s Armada’s fattest ski, too!).

All you die-hard ARG lovers, we know you are out there, don’t fret; Armada applied the easy pivot (pivot!)  feel and unmatched planing capabilities to the BUBBA and is making them available to masses with 3 sizes 188, 178 and 168.  Each size gets 5mm progressively narrower as you go shorter too, something that will make the 168 size still manageable for younger skiers and women looking for ski to pull out on the deepest of deep days.

More availability including the smallest size will be in store and online next fall. For more info and to view our entire assortment of this season’s Armada gear, check out our Armada product page.
